Chase will offer a new mobile application for its bank account that allows users to see photos from their smartphone, even if the photos are not shared with other people.
The app, called Chase Photos, will be available on both Android and iOS, but it will be able to be used on either phone, according to the bank’s blog post today.
The app will have access to all the same features that the Chase mobile app has, including photos, videos and social networking.
Chase Photos is the latest move by the bank to add to its already extensive offerings.
The bank launched a mobile app in February for checking accounts, which it said had a 1 in 5.5 million annual user base.
That app will also be available in the coming weeks for checking and savings accounts, and it will have the ability to add other kinds of cards to your account as well.
The new Chase Photos app, which is slated to launch later this year, is not a replacement for the bank website, but is intended to be a better user experience for Chase customers who want to save and share photos with their friends.
The new app will be made available to consumers with an email address on Chase’s mobile app, as well as those who want Chase to send them more information about their Chase bank account.
The bank will also have a new video-sharing service that allows Chase customers to upload videos to its video service.
